When the phone rings…
I get that feeling in my heart.
For that split second that I race to pick up the phone…
A lot goes through my mind.
In just a SECOND.
I wish so much that it was you calling.
It shows that you’re thinking about me
&
you’re missing me
For a split second, I have a need in my heart to hear your voice
To just know how your day is going
&
what’s on your mind.
I pick up the phone,
&
it’s not you.
Just another phone call from a relative.
